Ticket Exhange

Members or nonmembers may list tickets for sale, but only members may request tickets.  Tickets MUST be sold at face value or exchanged for an equal number of tickets for another game. This is not E-Bay! The club is not responsible for any sale or exchange arrangements between buyers and sellers. We only put ticket sellers in touch with member buyers. Names may be placed on the waiting list for only two games per season. Both buyers and sellers MUST inform the coordinator when a sale or exchange is arranged so that their names can be removed from the list for that game. The ticket exchange coordinator retains the right to parcel out buyer names to sellers in whatever manner he or she determines is fair. This year’s Ticket Exchange Coordinator is Casey McMillen. Ticket Auction

Would you like a pair of football tickets on the 50-yard line about two-thirds up on the C-deck?  These tickets have been donated to the club.

Bid on these tickets!  The highest bid will get the tickets.  It must be higher than our ticket cost.  If you are the winner, you will make out your check to “The Ohio State University.”  These checks will be deposited into one of our scholarship accounts (#480182).

The highest bid by 10:00 PM the Monday evening before each game is the winner of the right to buy these tickets.  We will make arrangements with you to meet somewhere to exchange check and tickets.

Reminder that your raffle tickets and check are due by Friday, August 20.  Raffle tickets are $1 or six tickets for $5.  You can enter as many tickets as you want!  The winning tickets have the right to purchase two (2) tickets to an upcoming game this season…..thats right you could be the lucky winner watching the BUCKEYES this fall!!

All orders are subject to availability. Tickets will be mailed to address on form. Orders received within 10 days will be held at Quicken Loans Arena Box Office. Promotions are subject to change and/or cancellation. Children under 2 do not require a ticket. All sales are final- no exchanges or refunds.

Once again this year The Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland will be sponsoring a night at Progressive Field.  The game is Friday, August 13, 2010, against The Seattle Mariners. First pitch is at 7:05 PM.  As an added bonus, there will be a Fireworks Spectacular after the game, so make plans to stick around afterwards.  This is part of the “Rockin’ Blast” series, so it should be better than even the usually great Friday Night Fireworks shows.

Since we anticipate a large group, we have reserved 75 tickets, but we can get more.  We have negotiated a ticket price of $20, a $2 discount because of our anticipated group size!  Deadline for ticket orders is Friday, July 23, 2010.  Finally, if you would like to make a donation to our Scholarship Fund, please note it in the space provided on the ticket order form.  Checks should be made payable to “The OSU Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland”. Fundraiser for the International Dravet Syndrome Epilepsy Action League

Do you need a vacuum?  That is a question that you don’t hear every day! If you have ever wished you could upgrade your vacuum and support The Ohio State University at the same time - Here is your chance!  Oreck Clean Home Center is selling an Ohio State licensed vacuum.  These are sharp!  Oreck will be having a special sale on Saturday June 19th where they will donate 10% of their sales directly to the IDEA League to help combat Dravet Syndrome.  Not only are you getting an awesome OSU Vacuum - you are also helping out a worthwhile cause!  They have four stores in the greater Cleveland area to choose from.  Please stop by on June 19th and take a look.  Click here for pictures and more details.  If you would like to make an additional donation to the IDEA league, please contact Brian Thiry at 440-845-7345.

On Wednesday, May 12th, we will be hosting our Annual Scholar’s Reception at Stages at the Cleveland Play House.  The address is 8501 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103.  We will be presenting scholarships to local students who have made the grand decision to attend The Ohio State University.  Please RSVP by contacting Barb Snyder at osubgs@aol.com.  The reception begins at 7:00 PM.

 The club would also like to invite you to participate in an upcoming event to raise money & awareness for Dravet Syndrome.  The event is: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (in July!), Friday July 23rd in Avon.  We are attempting to raise $200 so that we can donate a Seven Foot Ohio State Christmas Tree for the live auction.  Please contact Brian Thiry at bethiry@yahoo.com if you would like to contribute $20 towards this great cause!  If you would like to volunteer or attend the event and would like more information, please contact Paula Lyles at pal601@aol.com.

Bob O’Sevel is once again leading the charge in the St. Patrick’s Day parade. If you’d like to join us in marching alongide the OSU equipment truck, we are meeting at the truck (which you can’t miss near the front of the PD building at 18th and Superior).   Parade steps off at 1:04 p.m. and we won’t move until closer to 2 p.m. because we are in the third division.   Wear a lot of scarlet and some green!

The Greater Cleveland Alumni Club will be hosting their 58th Annual Football Banquet to benefit the scholarship fund. The event will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Windows On The River located in The Powerhouse-Nautica in The Flats, Cleveland.  Banquet will be held from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
