Summer Fest 2010 at Fox and Hound - Saturday, June 19th, 1:00PM - 11:00PM

The OSU Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland would like to invite you and your guests to Summer Fest 2010 at the Fox and Hound. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by clicking here.

This is the club’s summer kick-off party that will feature live music including but not limited to the OSU Alumni Band of Greater Cleveland.   If you have never been to a club event before, this is a great opportunity to meet other alumni, network, and learn more about the club in general.   The Fox n Hound restaurant is conveniently located in Parma, OH (8735 Day Drive) approximately 10 minutes south from the Ridge Road exit on I-480.

Join fellow Big Ten Alumni and the Monsters as they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins and enjoy Big Ten Alumni Night, featuring the Ohio State Alumni Band. Also, a special appearance by Joshua Cribbs!

We got a last minute request last week for our alumni band to play at a 90th birthday party.

The family of Joe Russo held their birthday celebration at Walton Hills Lake (near Bedford) with about 50 in attendance. My contact came in from California & in her attempts to find a band had a suggestion from another family member in Columbus to have the OSU Alumni Band. TBDBITL in Columbus passed along my name & phone#.

Any way, that’s the short version.

On such short notice, I was still able to assemble a band of six along with our own ‘Brutus.’ In return for our performance, a donation of $400 was made to our Scholarship Fund.

It’s nice to have fans that want to include us in the special events.
