2009 Football Ticket Exchange

Brian Thiry has volunteered to be in charge of the football ticket exchange this year. If you have tickets you cannot use or are looking for tickets for a particular game, get in touch with Brian (440-845-7345 or bethiry@yahoo.com).

How It Works

Buyers place their names on the waiting list for the games they want. When sellers have tickets to sell, the exchange coordinator will give the seller the first name on the buyers list. The seller will call or e-mail the buyer, and they will make their own arrangements for the sale/trade. As it gets closer to game day, the coordinator may choose to give the seller multiple names in case one or more of the potential buyers is not reachable in a reasonable amount of time.

The Rules

  • Participation in the ticket exchange is a perk of club membership, and thus listing on the buyer list is limited to members of the club. However, nonmembers may list their tickets for sale.
  • Tickets MUST be sold at face value or exchanged for an equal number of tickets for another game. Anyone reported as attempting to profit from ticket sales through this forum will be forever banned from participation in the ticket exchange — this includes buyers buying for resale at a higher price.
  • The club is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any sale or exchange arrangements between buyers and sellers. We only put ticket sellers in touch with member buyers. If you encounter a problem, you must resolve it on your own. However, please do let the coordinator know that there was a problem so that the offending participant can be banned from future participation in the ticket exchange, if necessary.
  • You may place your name on the waiting list for only two games per season.
  • Buyers and sellers BOTH must inform the coordinator when a sale or exchange is arranged so that their names can be removed from the list for that game. Buyers must also notify the coordinator to remove their names from the list if they acquire tickets through other means and no longer want to be listed as a buyer for a particular game. It is a waste of everyone’s time for a seller to contact a buyer only to find out that they no longer need tickets. Buyers who do not inform the coordinator of a change in their status for a game may be banned from future participation in the ticket exchange.
  • The ticket exchange coordinator retains the right to parcel out buyer names to sellers in whatever manner her or she determines is fair, whether it is first-come, first-served, lottery, or any other manner.
